It’s been almost 6 months now since everyone had to say goodbye to one of the nicest men in the music business in Troy Gentry. Troy was involved in a helicopter crash on Sept 8, 2017 so I wanted to take a moment this Monday and remember him. I’d met him a couple times at shows and he and Eddie were always so friendly and welcoming to their fans. R.I.P. Troy.

I love that song, and them! A great pick! We saw them in concert 1x when they were first starting out and met them and like you said, they were so nice and friendly! I was so upset when I found out Troy died. A tragic loss, indeed!

Thanks Stephanie! We had gone to several shows their first several years there and they always were the same, rock the place out and interact while onstage then wait around after to meet with those that stuck around. Still have a guitar pick Troy gave me from back then and was so sad to hear the news that day. 😦
