I won this book from Goodreads First Reads.
If I Could Turn Back Time is about Ramie Phillips who on the brink of her 38th birthday begins to question her choices in life at a gathering with friends. She end up hitting her head in an accident and waking up in her 18 year old body just before the end of her senior year in high school. Typical of these types of stories Ramie questions everything she did and what she should change from the past.
Overall I rather enjoyed the book. This is not a new concept by any means but it’s one that I love to read/watch so I was excited to win this book to review. My one problem that dropped my rating was there were a few things that didn’t match up in the story. Without giving too much story away I’ll mention one instance, Ramie states what college she attended early on but then later it changed. Maybe these were supposed to be small changes from what she was affecting but I didn’t get that from the book. Enjoyed the rest of the story though and it was a rather fun read which I thought it would be. I’ll have to check out more of Beth Harbison’s work in the future.
