About the book:
A delightful small-town romance between a daycare teacher and single dad who must overcome their differences to help plan the ultimate wedding.
They’ve driven each other crazy for years, but were they fighting each other—or the chemistry between them?
As the youngest in her loving, overprotective family, Savannah Lowe has always gone with the flow instead of going out on a limb…until now. Her new job running a preschool requires her to be all in. If only the father of one of her students wasn’t her brother’s incredibly infuriating, impossibly attractive best friend. Savannah has no clue what she ever did to make him dislike her, and now they’re stuck spending even more time together planning her brother’s wedding.
Single father Noah Adams has his hands full between his job as a paramedic and caring for his young daughter. The last thing he needs is a complication like Savannah in his life—a girl he remembers being constantly pampered by her family. But the more he gets to know her, the more he sees how kind and compassionate she really is. Now their long-ignored, off-the-charts chemistry has them on a collision course…with each other.
A Wedding on Sunshine Corner by Phoebe Mills is the second book of the contemporary romance The Sunshine Corner series. As with a lot of romance series the main characters have changed in this second book with the setting of The Sunshine Corner daycare being what ties the books together. With the characters changing the books can be read as a standalone or in any order if choosing to do so but there are glimpses of previous characters for those reading in order.
Savannah Lowe is trying not to be overwhelmed with her new position running The Sunshine Corner preschool and teaching the four year olds. One of those four year olds though is the daughter of Noah Adams. Noah was Savannah’s brother’s best friend and never saw eye to eye with Savannah thinking of her only as a spoiled princess being the youngest in her family.
Despite always bumping heads with one another Savannah and Noah immediately accept the challenge of helping to plan Savannah’s brother’s wedding when they are both asked. After a few failed attempts at planning Savannah makes a pact with Noah to put their past behind them long enough to get the wedding together but working together they both begin to see another side to one another.
A Wedding on Sunshine Corner by Phoebe Mills is again another enemies to lovers romance in the series and while that isn’t my favorite romance trope I again found myself easily engaged in the story. The characters in this one were again very likable despite beginning not liking each other and it was easy to root for them. I’m also always a sucker for children being involved and of course Noah’s daughter was an adorable addition. After reading and enjoying both books in this series so far I’d definitely be up for a book three!
I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley.

Great review Carrie. Enemy to lover isn’t my favourite trope either, but your positive review and that beautiful cover have attracted me. ❤📚

Thanks Sandy!! I think when it comes to enemies to lovers it depends on how far an author goes to make them enemies for me. If they become unlikable it’s hard to get back into rooting for them.
