Seventeen-year-old Lil stumbles across a dangerous secret while searching for her missing sister in this gripping thriller that’s perfect for fans of The Darkest Corners and The Third Twin.
Seventeen-year-old Lil’s heart was broken when her sister Mella disappeared. There’s been no trace or sighting of her since she vanished, so when Lil sees a girl lying in the road near her house she thinks for a heart-stopping moment that it’s Mella.
The girl is injured and disorientated and Lil has no choice but to take her home, even though she knows something’s not right. The girl claims she’s from a peaceful community called The Sisterhood of the Light, but why then does she have strange marks down her arms, and what—or who—is she running from?
I hope you feel better soon, Carrie!!

Thanks Carla, I just have my up and down days like most I suppose. Winter always brings on my bad days though, think I’m allergic to the cold.

For me it is the lack of sun and getting outside. That is why I head to Florida just after Christmas. I need the sun or I get really depressed.

My grandmother was really bad suffering from SAD, she had sun lamps in her house to try to beat the winter blahs. I may have a touch of it myself but I spend a lot of time in the cold battling stuffy sinuses too which doesn’t help and adds to my iffy digestion issues.

I am not diagnosed with SAD, but I feel like I might have a mild case. Sinus problems are awful. My husband had them and I always felt so bad for him.

Yes, exactly. I don’t think I’m nearly as bad as my grandma was with it but I’m much happier in the sunshine months. My idea would be a quick short winter in Nov and Dec to enjoy the Christmas lights but after the new year we go back to Spring. LOL
