Music Monday: Kid Rock

musicmonday

Music Monday is a meme that was created by Drew from The Tattooed Book Geek. You pick a song and/or video and share it on Monday.

The song and video I am sharing today is:

Alright folks I just couldn’t do it… indecision has struck again when I went to pick just one Kid Rock song. I’ve always said I’m terrible at choosing and it’s true and when it comes to one of my favorite artists it was virtually impossible so instead of one song I’m doing yet another mixtape (yes, my 80s side is showing again). For someone who enjoys all kinds of music Kid Rock is perfect to find something for any mood whether it’s his rapping to rock guitars, his softer side or even when he’s gone country.

  1. I love all of these! I think “Picture” is my favorite though. I love him and Sheryl together in that song. <3 Great share, Carrie!

  2. That one was always one of my favorites, they do make some good music together.

  3. Glad you enjoyed them! Picture is definitely one of my all time faves, simply beautiful. 🙂

  4. Wonderful share Carrie. My husband and I saw him at Sea World a few years ago and loved it. One of my favourite pictures of the two of us was at that concert. Love these songs.

  5. Thanks Carla! A concert at Sea World sounds like tons of fun, didn’t know they did anything like that at any of their parks. Of course it’s been years and years since I’ve been to one of them and that was the OH park so who knows what they do at the rest. LOL

  6. Love that one, reminds me of when I was growing up being just south of where Kid Rock grew up summers were much the same.

  7. They used to have a month and a half that was called, Bands, Brews and Barbecue. Every Friday and Saturday night for 6 weeks they had a free concert. They don’t do it anymore. We saw some great acts there the two years we went to it.

  8. It’s funny, we mention all the time how it used to be with shows around here too. Saw a ton of great artists and bands at various venues for free or really low cost and you just don’t see much of that anymore.
