Robert Salinger needs to find a girlfriend. When he bumps in Crystal at the coffee shop she tells him off for being rude to her but he sees something in her and her attitude so he decides to approach her with a proposition to be his pretend girlfriend for a few weeks. After giving Crystal an offer she can’t refuse she agrees to the proposal but after some time together the two start to see sparks.
Loved the idea of the story but wasn’t overly fond of either character. Crystal just seemed to have a major chip on her shoulder without really a reason why and Robert seemed to be a pompous jerk. The whole pretty woman type of story line with the older, rich man hiring the young woman to be his date though was likable enough to easily finish this story with it being a quick read. Just thought the characters could have used a bit better personalities to rate higher.
Overall, liked the plot, not so much the characters.
