The stinging hot needles of Grisham’s shower feels heavenly as it washes the sand and salt off of my body. I smile to myself as I run my hands through my wet hair, remembering how amazing the day was. I’m also remembering how hot Grisham is on a surfboard. He’s such a natural out there, dipping low on his board when he needs to and riding each wave in effortlessly. He never once lost a wave.
It was an incredible day.
And now that same hot, sexy guy is waiting for me somewhere in his house while I shower. I can’t keep the smile off my face.
Suddenly, a warm hand slides around my waist until it rests on my stomach. I gasp as Grisham yanks me back against the hard planes of his wet body, and one of my arms immediately goes up to wrap around the back of his neck.
“You’re fucking beautiful,” he groans into my ear. I can feel it; he’s hard and ready for me, and I turn in his arms to face him.
I’m so not prepared for the sight of Grisham fully naked in the shower with me.
My eyes roam greedily from his broad, tattooed shoulders to the muscled wall of his chest. Then they drift down to the rack of abdominal muscles that could and should definitely be in a magazine. A trail of dark hair leads down to the impressive length of his cock, and a whimper escapes me. I pull my eyes away to travel down his thick thighs and cantaloupe-sized calf, before my gaze meanders lazily up his body once more.
And when I meet his gaze, I’m instantly wet and ready for him, more so than I’ve ever been before. Because the sight of a man that looks like Grisham devouring every inch of me in return is beyond hot.
“I’m done waiting,” he grinds out, just before his lips collide with mine.

Candy J. Starr
(Snatched, #1)
Publication date: March 22nd 2016
Genres: New Adult, Romance
I need to stop this wedding. My mother snuck behind my back to marry a gold-digger but he’ll not get his dirty hands on our company. Only, I arrived too late and now have to cool my heels. I never let emotions interfere with my life but I’m so pent up that, when I noticed that hooker working the room, I figure a play session will relieve my stress.
Her innocence is just an act – and we both know what the game is here. Don’t we?
A stranger, a hotel room, no word and no names. Who better to have a wild fling with? I’d been numb to the world for so long with nothing but a mountain of crushing debts. Then my father offered me a wad of cash to attend his glitzy wedding. I don’t do casual flings but, just this once, I want to be wanton and crazy. It’s not like I’ll ever see him again.

Author Bio:
Candy J. Starr used to be a band manager until she realised that the band she managed was so lacking in charisma that they actually sucked the charisma out of any room they played. “Screw you,” she said, leaving them to wallow in obscurity – totally forgetting that they owed her big bucks for video equipment hire.
Candy has filmed and interviewed some big names in the rock business, and a lot of small ones. She’s seen the dirty little secrets that go on in the back rooms of band venues. She’s seen the ugly side of rock and the very pretty one.
But, of course, everything she writes is fiction.

Book Title: Holding Court
Author: K.C. Held
Release Date: March. 1, 2016
Genre: YA Mystery
Sixteen-year-old Jules Verity knows exactly what’s in store at her new job at castle-turned-dinner-theater Tudor Times. Some extra cash, wearing a fancy-pants dress, and plenty of time to secretly drool over the ever-so-tasty–and completely unavailable–Grayson Chandler. Except that it’s not quite what she imagined.
For one, the costume Jules has to wear is awful. Then there’s the dead body she finds that just kind of…well, disappears. Oh, and there’s the small issue of Jules and her episodes of what her best friend calls “Psychic Tourette’s Syndrome”–spontaneous and uncontrollable outbursts of seemingly absurd prophecies.
The only bright side? This whole dead body thing seems to have gotten Grayson’s attention. Except that the more Jules investigates, the more she discovers that Grayson’s interest might not be as courtly as she thought. In fact, it’s starting to look suspicious…

My review:
Sixteen year old Jules Verity has a family that each have different gifts, or curses depending on how you look at it. Her grandmother can see auras and has used the ability to set up her own matchmaking service. Her mother can touch any object and tell the authenticity so has her own antique shop. However Jules doesn’t have control over her ability, it seems she’s psychic but it comes as blurting out random sayings that make little to no sense at the time thus her best friend Cami has dubbed the ability “Psychic Tourette’s Syndrome”.
Jules like any other sixteen year old with a brand new drivers license wants her own car so she decides to get a summer job at Tudor Times, a dinner theater in a castle where Jules thinks she’s applying to be a fair maiden but ends up playing a crazy psychic nun the Mad Maid of Kent which fits Jules Psychic Tourettes quite perfectly. Other than embarrassment from her long time crush Grayson seeing her as a nun, Jules should have found herself the perfect job, that is until she stumbles into a secret passage and finds a dead body.
Holding Court is just a fun, light-hearted book that was just too cute for words. I completely enjoyed everything about this story. The setting had me from the start as it reminded me of a place I have actually been to called Medieval Times near Chicago. But Jules was just adorable with her blurting out the most random things at the most inopportune times that it had me giggling all the way through the pages.
The book can be best described as a young adult cozy mystery with a tad bit of romance thrown into the mix. Jules has a crush on Grayson but the main focus of the story is the fact Jules had found a body and no one seems to believe her due to her outbursts. She takes investigating into her own hands and embarks on one hilarious adventure.
Overall, great fun read that I’d definitely recommend checking out.

Only Ever You: A Novel by Rebecca Drake
My rating: 4.5 of 5 stars
When Jill Lassiter turns her back for a few brief minutes at a public park it begins what is every mother’s worst nightmare, Jill’s three year old daughter Sophia is missing. The police are called with everyone searching for the little girl but less than an hour later Sophia comes wandering out of the trees alone.
When questioned she says she saw a doggie so everyone assumes the girl had just wandered off. Jill isn’t too sure that something more didn’t happen but she eventually assumes it’s her imagination getting the best of her. A few months later Jill’s nightmare returns, Sophia is again missing.
Only Ever You is a wonderfully written, engaging psychological thriller that will have a reader hooked from the very beginning. The characters were wonderful, just the right amount of emotional investment, drama and intrigue into their lives to keep me wanting to know more. As the story unfolds there are some touching moments with Jill and what she and her family have been through that were just heartbreaking.
My one complaint came with the fact that I thought for sure I had the entire story figured out early on. I wasn’t quite on the money with my theory as there were a few extra twists I didn’t count on but even thinking that I knew what would happen I still didn’t want to put this book down and never got bored with it. In the end I decided on 4.5 stars as there were some predictable elements but still a completely engaging story.
