My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I received a copy of Bone Box in exchange for an honest review.

Joe Travers, trying to escape from his own problems, takes on what he believes is an easy job working for an old friend and heading off to Turkey to oversee an archeological dig site being ran by Sophia Altay. Sophia and her assistant Abrahim have discovered what could be one of the biggest finds in history by uncovering a Bone Box that could hold the remains of Jesus along with two letters. The two go into hiding with the contents of the box when a body is found near the site.

The story started off a bit slow for me but picks up quite a bit once you get into what was discovered at the dig and get introduced to all the different characters. I got to the end though and felt like things still get left a bit up in the air with the box contents, perhaps leaving room for a sequel. A lot of action during the story though so overall an interesting story to read.
