As You Wish is the sequel to Wish I Might and again we meet the characters from the first book but in an completely different way. In this book we have modern day Leah Cantrell travel back in time and deal with all the elements of being totally out of her time and element.
A fun, light hearted take on romance and time travel. Rather enjoyed this easy, fun read. Great follow up to the first book.

Opening Up is an erotic romance read featuring P.J. Colman and Asa Barrons. P.J. is the youngest in a family that owns an automotive business selling tires. Her father overlooks her every attempt at bringing her own style and worth to the family business and all of her ideas to expand to include a detailing service. She sets off on her own then to do what she truly loves and to try to be taken seriously in a male dominated world.
Asa is co-owner of Twisted Steel, a body shop restoring cars and bikes. When Asa and P.J. meet through work they have an instant attraction but Asa denies it for a while to keep work and personal life seperate. When the two do start a relationship the sparks fly.
A good read overall. Asa and P.J. seem to be made for each other.
I received this book through Goodreads First Reads and was pleasantly surprised at how well written and a fun read it was. The story starts off when Ryan and Katie who were childhood friends meet up 8 years after being separated. The story changes perspectives back and forth between Ryan and Katie throughout the book flawlessly to never fail to answer the questions of how they feel and what had happened with their lives while apart. Definitely worth checking out for anyone who likes a good romance read. 🙂

Schade of Night in theory should have been an easy 5 star review for me but in the end I’d have to give it 3-3.5 stars. I normally love a good supernatural thriller but in the end I’d have to say it just never grabbed me the way it should. I found myself never really getting a good connection with the characters in the book. The scenery and settings were often overly described but the emotions that usually flow from a story and drag you in seemed to be lacking to me. Overall though, you have a story involving Demons, Witches, Zombies and the Sentinals which represent the “good guys” who fight the demons so if you are into supernatural thrillers it may be a book to check out.
If you’re expecting amazing literature then pass this book by but if you’d like a good laugh then this is for you. The two main characters are often hilarious with their bickering and approach to the zombies. Found it quite a fun if not sometimes overly silly read. You have all the elements of zombie horror involved but instead of it being scary it’s done in a comedic approach. Fun quick read.
