About the book:

A holiday she’ll remember forever…

From the USA Today bestselling author of The Wedding Date!

It’s the most magical time of the year, and for travel agent Sarah it’s also the busiest! But this year one man threatens to ruin Christmas for Sarah’s customers – Mr Grinch, Will Armstrong.

The Shooting Star Mountain resort is a magical place, and Sarah has fond memories of Christmas here as a little girl. But as the resorts new owner, Will refuses to play snowball or to deck the halls with anything remotely resembling jolly!

With customers complaining their Christmas is ruined, Sarah decides it’s up to her to convince gorgeous but Scroogey Will just how magical Christmas can be…

No One Cancels Christmas by Zara Stoneley is a contemporary romance set during the holiday season. In this story Sarah is working at the travel agency owned by her aunt when she gets a complaint letter from a client that The Shooting Star Mountain resort was not what they were told it would be.

Sarah had already had several other complaints so she gets the idea that she will travel up to Canada to the resort and find out just what is going on with the business before the agency loses clients recommending the vacation destination. Once Sarah arrives at the resort she meets the owners Will Armstrong and realizes her job may be harder then she thought when he gives Scrooge a run for his money.

No One Cancels Christmas is one of those books that had me chuckling on the opening pages during the letters to Sarah then her response to Will. I knew right then I would be in for a hilariously good time reading this story. Once Sarah heads to the resort you find all kinds of Christmas fun involved as she tries to whip the place into the magical destination she remembers. Both characters show growth through the story and deal with some personal issues as they also grow close to one another but it never loses it’s humorous vibe along the way that kept the pages turning for me.

I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley.

 About the author:

Born in a small village in the UK, I wanted to be a female James Herriot, a spy, or an author when I grew up. After many years, and many different jobs, my dream of writing a bestseller came true.

I write about friendship, dreams, love, and happy ever afters, and hope that my tales make you laugh a lot, cry a little, and occasionally say ‘ahhh’.

I now live in a Cheshire village with my family, a lively cockapoo called Harry, and a very bossy (and slightly evil) cat called Saffron.

  1. Great review Carrie. I love Christmas stories that are also humourous. I read one other by this author and it was only mediocre, so I did not request this one, might be too late now. Being Canadian, I would love to read this one if I can get my hands on it.
